A surprise win of 2nd place at the Eastern New Mexico State Fair 2010. This piece began with a frog, naturally living by water, sitting atop a lilly pad kept company by a caterpillar, floral pond and folliage completed in a French wired beaded- style taking a pliable shape. The caterpillar has finite hairs as catepillars are naturally hairy. The frog is a Red, Poison Dart frog. A coral snake is wrapped around the pond, looking hungrily at the caterpillar anxious for the probability of a caterpillar lunch. The snake alone took honroable mention in Myoki's second competition International challenge. Myoki manufacture the delicate beads used throughout Juanita's work.
