    Casino Del Sol, Tuscon, AZ

    Artists, Ginger Shockey and Juanita Finger will have a booth at this exciting show. They will both be teaching classes and have many kits for sale. We will be in booth 192 in the main ballroom.

    Tuscon To Bead TRue Blue Show located at Casino Del Sol

    This is a 3 hour class and students may not finish in class. Students will learn how to do the ladder stitch and there will be some need for the student to express their own creativity . All levels are welcome. Register at To Bead True Blue site.

    This 3 hours class will teach students peyote, harring bone and embellishment. The flower clasp adds interest to the bracelet. Student might not finish in class.

    The elegance of the bracelet hides the complexity. This class witl teach tubular and cubic right angle weave. This is a 3 hour class and student might not complete it in class.

  • First Friday at Florence Thomas Art School Sept. 6, 2019 "Simply Bracelet" is a quick fun piece. It sparkles and shines as it moves.

     Beading is represented in every culture and in every time period. This exciting art form is having a revitization currently around the world. Bead-weaving is just one type of this art form.   
     Two stitches will be taught in this class, Ladder and Peyote. The ladder stitch creates the foundation for several other stitches you can learn in the future.  Peyote stitch is one of the easiest stitches to learn. It can be done in round, flat, or circular. The ease in which you can increase and decrease makes it ideal for sculptures.
    This 3 hour class is for all levels from Beginner to Advanced. The student will have their choice of black or silver. The clasp is a simple fold-over snap. Juanita's detail instruction will walk you through the creation from beginning to end.
